1. Eric Woolfson was a brilliant writer/composer. When he teamed up with producer Alan Parsons, the end product was some of the most amazing music to come out of the 80's and 90's. Parsons had nothing to do with this album, as the two had broken up as a team by the time Eric worked on this/5(80).

3. I bought this CD because of Woolfson's work on the Alan Parsons Project, and because the Project's first album - which focussed on the works of Edgar Allan Poe - was, in my opinion, their best. This CD has more songs than the studio album version that is also available on CD, and which I /5(20).

5. “A version of this song without a vocal was included on the APP expanded edition album ‘Eye in the Sky’. It was abandoned at an early stage and did not exist as a completed backing track. So with Haydn Bendall at Air Studios in London, I recorded a basic piano and lead vocal, then at Haydn’s studio at Strong Room, I recorded the backing.
